>5: Close the incarceration gap. Incarcerated men would otherwise be low-wage earners. Pulling them out of the labor force boosts average male earnings.

Author overlooked an obvious policy change - release all violent make criminals from prison. Sure, we will need to experience more violence, but bringing down men’s average wage relative to women's is important enough to be worth the sacrifice.

I don't know when I've read something with so many falsehoods. Surely you know wage discrimination has been illegal for the last 60 years?? I cringe at the thought of your students being taught these lies.

This soundly highlights that it's the choices men and women make which result in the gap, but it does leave unanswered the final card the femininists have to play — that women get paid less for the exact same job — to which the answer is that if so, any shrewd businessman (or woman!) would hire all women and make bank. But those who don't know that answer will not be swayed by the above arguments, as they cling to their last card.

But otherwise, this was just a fun ride. Hahaha

“Even the childless can get screwed (ideally with protection), though, when the question of caring for aging parents arises.” I laughed. Hopefully this is easy medicine for people who don’t already see these truths.

Great stuff, in the noble quest to fix inequality in longevity, we should stop discouraging our women to take insane risks in their leisure time. Our oppressive patriarchal society has for too long stopped women from enjoying extremely fun things such as climbing El Capitan, skiing off-piste, shooting each other while wearing bullet-proof vests and travelling solo in Afghanistan.

Interesting report here in the UK entitled lost boys (centre for social justice) - https://www.centreforsocialjustice.org.uk/library/lost-boys - where, for the first time, women have overtaken men on the employability ratio and earnings ratio. So, shit post aside, in the UK the tables are turning and turning quite fast to the point there is now a moral panic about the men that are being left behind, growing increasingly incel like in their rage about being dispossessed and purposeless. Queue, in this context, Tommy Robinson, Elon Musk and other populist shitbags with their demagoguery and you have, once again, the rise of the fascist right as a salve to the ailing male mentality. Female success does not have to equal male destruction. It doesn’t have to be zero sum but the numbers suggest that many men are just giving up the ghost. And it starts young - very young

A literate person does not use "their" for "her". The gap exists because more men have to work harder to support a family. But don't worry. The more stupid women run away from marriages taking the kids the more they will enjoy the privilege of working for "gender equity". Sensible women prefer a gender inequity pay gap of 100% being at home with kids supported by a husband.

At this point I'm much more interested in ending narratives about the gender gap!
