What would it be like if the government had to observe experimental ethics (voluntary subjects) and epistemics (control groups)?
There's no proximate anticipation of a MB in caring about issues beyond one's locus of control. But as soon as it becomes something real, preferences change. No incentive to self-correct/change preferences otherwise.
