“… some point between now and January 20, 2017 (two inaugurations from now).…”

When was this written? Was this a typo or recirculated essay from a decade ago? Color me confused

Thanks. Right around the time Abraham Lincoln cautioned people not to believe everything they read on the internet.

Why didn’t I think to look bak 16 years? Silly me.

I do think it should be clearer that it's a repost, I was also confused, but the date is right at the top of this page .

Bryan it’s seems like a weird time to repost this. I would recommend reading some AC Grayling (Democracy and Its Crisis/and The Good State) American does in fact have one party rule. Especially right now (more accurately authoritarian rule) as the republicans are full step inline with Trump. But for at least the last 40 years the two party system has been nothing more than an alternating rotation of one party rule. It’s culminating now in a one party’s hostile take over of the US government.

Charles Murray state there are two ways Hispanic immigration could impact politics.

1) one party democrat rule

2) the gop becomes sufficiently left wing to compete with the new more left wing median voter

#1 is what we got in blue cities/states

#2 is what we got at the national level

Donald Trump is certainly to the left of 2012 mitt Romney on most things (except immigration).
