Poverty is not a fit subject for policy. Neither is prosperity, actually.
If so, it should be both easy and worthwhile debunking suggested policies in debate.
The suggested policies are debunked regularly and constantly, but enacted regardless, in common with MANY other debunked suggestions. Politics, coupled with popular ignorance and inattention. Socialism, for example (give my regards to Broadway).
So just give up?
