For a minute there, I thought the picture of the golden palace was Bryan's vacation home and that those tenured guys really live the high life.

Recommendations for Amritsar:

1) wagah border ceremony. Crazy militaristic ceremony happening every day and filling a small Stadium as people come from all over India. Includes dance offs between Pakistani and Indian soldiers.

2) when you visit the golden Tempel, make sure to also go to the kitchen. They feed 100k people every day (for free). This ist also a better place to interact with sikhs.
