The percentage of those who "believe now" is interesting. The percentages are in a fairly narrow range - the lowest 15, the highest 23. Hypothesis: In any society, something like 20-25% of the people will believe in Communism, no matter what you do.

What do you think this survey would look like if you replaced "communism" with " capitalism" and gave it to everyone in the United States?

This assumes that all those surveyed agree on what the ideals of communism are. Do they?

I believed in more when I was young. Now, in my dotage, I believe in MUCH less.

Most people don't know what they believe in. Much less why.
